Vinous 93 ~ The 2018 Volnay 1er Cru a blend of Les Pitures and Les Mitans has a perfumed bouquet of very pure black cherry and wild strawberry aromas. The palate is defined by slightly chalky tannins. Quite poised and mineral driven tapering slightly toward the finish but maintaining impressive focus and elegance. Superb.
