2013 Domaine Jasmin Côte Rôtie
The nose is marked by an appealing darkness and persistence, gives a minor air of soaked black cherries, black berry and cassis present. The palate is fresh, has good dance and weight together; it picks up peppery, insistent tannins, but the brightness prevails. The tannins have a light floral note. This is going the right way – it has one foot in Burgundy, the other in Côte-Rôtie!
