2016 Jolie Folle Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Grapes are sourced primarily from the Touraine. The soils are highly varied: flinty clays, clay and limestone on a chalk bed, gravel stones, and sand. Fruit is manually harvested. Grapes are immediately pressed and cold fermented in stainless steel tanks for 11 days. The wine is kept on its fine lees for a period of time to add complexity. This classically styled Sauvignon Blanc delivers silky texture, citrus candy, expressive pink grapefruit, subtle kiwi and lilac framed by a snappy mineral finish.
